Can you detail how a 270 awning would be attached?

@sarek are you planning on fabricating side mount panels for rotopax that will fit under the roof rack?

Should mount on top of the cross bars near the end. Mounted all the way flush with the rear bar

I believe I understand what you're asking. We are in the process of fabricating tubular rub rails that sit below the rear window where the ladder for cubby box would attach. These would allow lower mounts for a rotopax. The lower rail on the roof rack would be the upper mount.

If the awning is there, I suspect that would interfere with RTT's if they had them. If they are lucky enough to have T-slot on the side of their tent, I suppose this could be a non-issue, but could also see it being one. I love the roll over tubing, it just works with the design of the truck. Maybe bolt on Clamps on the side tubes that could affix the awning would work.

Clamping to the tubing is a viable option.

That is our all aluminum winch bumper with prototype bull bar. Bull bar tubing diameter will be increased in later models. We currently build our bumpers and rock sliders to suit

@sarek can you make a thread that outlines everything you're working on with pics? There isn't a lot of info on your website.

The website is currently being updated. I can put together a post showing all of our stuff in one if u like. I know it is peppered thru these forums. Our short list is the 2 inch coil spring lift. Rear seat fold flat conversion for the 90. Sarek SA line of aluminum armor for the new defender which currently consists of a Winch bumper /bull bar. Rear bumper, rock sliders with UHMW impact surface. Roof rack and more in the works. Wind deflector/limb riser / light mount for the Expo rack.

Howdy @sarek,

Awesome work! Could you provide some details on the tracks in the cross bars? Are these Thule bars? I'm trying to figure out which cargo mounting options on the market would work best with your rack.

Thanks!
