I like the look of Gen2 over Gen1. I'm definitely interested!

One question about the winch. How do you keep it from being stolen? The hidden winch is harder to grab and I like this being out there more but it would be easier to grab.

with my jeeps in the past, the winch is bolted to the bumper before installation then the bumper is installed, and the winch bolts come up from below and are inaccessible unless you remove the bumper. So they would have to take the bumper off and steal it and the winch. If they have time and seclusion enough for that, they can steal all the wheels, bust out the windows and take everything inside including the seats and steering wheel etc. I don’t know if Sarek is that way.

Looks great! I've read the whole thread, and sorry if I missed it, but what does the new bumper weigh?

Thanks,

Myron

I see Albert Einstein is back.....i obviously do not know what I am doing and build a bunch of stuff to make the new defender less capable. I mean people that go to the mall need a bumper too! I hope you can keep providing more useful feedback in such a productive way.

Worth getting the bumper just to avoid having to use that damn tow hook down at Underwater level.

It's my pleasure but at least you know you are not the sharpest crayon in the box when it comes to form vs function ...
You could have just redesigned the lower section to have the proper function instead of a useless patch job..

That scraper will be fun in the mall parking lots if it hangs up on the cement curb bumpers..
