Yes, I have lift rods and still rub ever so slightly. In access height, I rub quite a bit at full lock, but at normal height with the rods it barely touches the front inner fender liner.

these have a very aggresive offset which i love but have rubbing issues in access height. lots of trim work and still some rub. no issues in normal height

Damn nice wheels and "slight" really does look like a good word for the caliper grind. How much material had to come off?

Looks like a disc grinder with a flap disc would almost be too aggressive but an orbital sander would easily do it?

 

I’m not sure what kind of grinder the shop used. As you can see in the above photo, the stamped letter “L” is still visible so they didn’t take much off. They said the wheel made contact at just one small point, so I’m thinking a hand-file may even work (if you’re patient).
