Default Side Tubes vs Side Steps

Hi,

Anyone here managed to install the defender side tubes in their defender? I am leaning more towards a side tube than the side step for my 110 just because of their minimalistic look, doesn't add any clunkyness and hopefully provides something to step on while getting in/out of the car.

Lucky8 side rails definitely look beasty but after reading some threads here I feel it would be a tad bit ambitious to get that hooked on mine.

Cheers!

I test drove a defender that had the side tubes installed. They weren't much of a step, move of a faux rock slider. I don't think they would hold up to much abuse in an actual off road situation.
