Default PIVI Reset w/ engine off did not fix it

Over the weekend I ran into a neighbor whose RR was at our local dealer for months, victim of the chip shortage, so I'm a bit concerned that I will run into the same problem. I want to get the warranty paperwork started on this, but I'm not in a hurry to hand over a vehicle that is currently perfectly drivable.

I doubt they will want to give you a loaner for months while they wait on a part for a vehicle that will run and drive. I would take it in.

My 2020 P300 110 is showing a change since the electronic ferries visited on December 16th and pushed me into 2.1.6a I do not have PIVI or any such similar thing.

My vehicle is no longer defaulting to AUTO mode -- a feature I really, really liked. Instead, it is often defaulting to nothing -- not even comfort mode. Sometimes it seems to default to AUTO (maybe?)

I did confirm that holding down the mode selection button for three seconds does seem to sometimes activate AUTO mode. And I can still go and activate AUTO on the screen.

But as of now, I trust none of it, so end up having to check the mode each time I start the vehicle.

So it goes...

I ended up making an appt at the Lynnwood location. Apparently their service dept is not quite as booked up. Will post an update here when I find out what's up.

Default Problem fixed

I got my Defender back from the dealer today. When I dropped it off and explained the issue, the tech was pretty sure the inability to switch driving modes was related to the emergency braking fault. The problem has been fixed. Here's what they reported:

"Checked alignment of camera and found it to be good.
Checked DADC module and ran service function - central configuration. Completed successfully.
Test drove vehicle and no more warning messages on display.
No further problems at this time. "
