Like @NoGaBiker said, I reckon that's a staged photo. That said, there was a time when I thought about screwing a holster under the steering wheel of my go fast car to store my EDC while driving but I never felt entirely comfortable with the idea. On my fat hip she'll have to sit.

I go left-side shoulder holster for longer trips in cold enough weather to keep a light jacket or shirt over it. So much easier than trying to negotiate around the seatbelt.

Im an FFL and this is literally one of the dumbest things I’ve seen in a while.

if this is a D90, then you only need to wait 12 minutes for the seat to move forward to access....

Yeah these seats don't have electric adjustment so it's pretty quick.

Crap like this makes me want to sell my Defender move to a sane country and buy a regular car again. I’m clearly in the wrong group here. I f’ing hate guns and all the bull**** that comes with them. Can’t even read about overlanding anymore without coming across all this 2A crap everywhere.

I’m pretty sure there is more of a middle ground here. As mentioned, I am 100% onboard with the ability to own. However, as with anything these days- extreme stupidity needs to stop. I train people to use and collect responsibly, and avoid those that can’t say 2 words without blaming a political party for some mysterious plan to ruin their lives. Perhaps your beliefs could benefit from meeting those that have a bit more tempered opinion. To someone on the extreme side of the 2A, you are the crazy one.

Here’s a secret- 80% know how to keep a civil conversation. The 20% (10 on each side) are the ones that make the news. There’s a reason for that.

But this is a car site, so I won’t dwell on it. We seem to share at least one common point, and I think that can be celebrated, right?

Of course this is a car site, and nobody expects anybody’s opinions on guns to be changed here, so maybe we don’t need pictures of personal arsenals either when it has nothing to do with the car, and so many Americans, some of my close personal friends included, have suffered terrible loss because of our obsession with these things. Sick of the whole thing, and just not necessary here.

Guess I expected that. I have lived in a country with no guns, almost zero gun deaths, and hardly any murders, and it is damn nice. One of these days I do hope to move back thanks to the continued insanity in this country.
