Default Spacers for wheel arch protector

I just had my new 2022 Defender delivered with painted wheel arch protectors to give it a wider look. Now the wheels need to be positioned farther out. Has anyone placed wheel spacers in a Defender with wide arches? If so, what size and what brand did you get? Any vibration or weird sound while driving with spacers?

I really dig the painted arches! Is this an option I wasn’t aware of?

And what did they charge to paint the wheel arches? They look better than the flat, dull, black that comes from the factory. My dealer wanted $1,000 to paint the wheel cover making it a $1,300 add on.

i paid $790 for the arches and additional $950 for painting and install (which a 3rd party did)

With these wheels I would not go wider than 22mm or max 25mm.
( Only backside you need to cut/shave the wheelstuds a few mm)

Be sure to use an high end Brand with good fitment, studs and bolts. No vibrations if properly installed ( Torque 140Nm)

Question about the arches, does it really widen the car a bit or just give the visual look of wider look but doesn’t really change the width?

I’m on the fence about them and find them both (with & without) look great in different angles. I would only add them if they give the real world difference in width.
