New 23.5MY Defender 110 SE D300 owner here. I am seeing this message 90% of the time if the car sits more than 2 days. Am curious if other owners have had any similar experiences.
If I then let it run for 15 minutes, stop and restart the ignition, the message clears within a minute or two.
I've had it to the dealership once and here is the write up from the service team. They didn't have it long enough to replicate the issue, but they did see something that needed fixing apparently. Whatever they did, it didn't affect the issue. Still happens if the car sits for two days.

There's likely no way to diagnose this kind of issue without plugging the vehicle into diagnostics.
Unless someone else has had the same fault and can advise.
Are you able to return to the dealer while the message is still showing and get them
to plug it in, hopefully it may show the fault that's causing the message.

Dealership is 150km away. I'm not really comfortable driving it for two hours with the message there telling me to stop. The message may clear on the way anyway. Not 100% sure it requires a restart to clear.
They've also already had a crack at it as per my message. Based on my other experience with them they would repeat the same and send me away only to have it happen again a couple of days later.
Does a fault need to be happening for diagnostics to show that it happened? A fault log, as it were?
Anyway - I know it's a long shot that we'd diagnose it here with the limited info I can provide. It's not apparent whether that message is common for a broad range of faults. I've searched the words of the message here and get no results.
Guessing you bought it new as you have only 1400 km ?
What a crappy situation, sorry mate. This is not a fault I've read about on either UK/AUS or US forums or Facebook groups yet... so perhaps a new one for your vehicle.
Call the dealer manager and use lots of words about safety and being unsafe to drive your family in. Ask for your money back, ask for a new defender, or ask for them to come get it, tow it in 150km and fix it -- That usually gets the message across.
This is a time when I'd clearly articulate your wishes to them firmly and nicely.
The dealership is looking into collecting the car, so that is something at least.
Some kicking around indicates this same message is shown on other JLR models for charging issues, a broken alternator belt being the most common.
The fact that it clears after running for 15 minutes maybe points to a flaky battery or perhaps a bad connection that improves once the engine warms up.
If it is sorted out, I'll post further details here.
Very sorry to hear this, @rablexco . I also have 2023.5 110 S (P300 here in the US), but haven't experienced this fault. I have >6,000 miles on mine and so far, so good. I hope your dealer is able to resolve your issue. Please come back and let us know how it works out.
Hasn't been started for 6 days, but this time the warning message did not appear! Because of course it didn't.
The tech checked the battery and the charging system and found no faults, other than the battery is possibly low on charge. That seems a little strange to me seeing as the two prior drives were 2 hours each.
Anyway, I have a CTEK charger coming this week so we will see if a few days on the charger puts an end to the problem.
