3.3.3 downloaded and installed today. Hopefully 4.0.0 won't be too far behind

Definitely European...but man this is a dream come true to me. Full maps in front of me and let's face it as much as we love pivi maps, it is nowhere near accurate as the phone apps, being Maps, Google, Waze, etc. Patience is a virtue.

Just checking you know you can update your Pivi map data via USB? My Pivi map data was actually quite dated when I checked. There's a downloader on the Land Rover website. Took a while to download the data to USB, and once done it took about 30 mins to update the map data in the Land Rover.

Gotcha. Thanks for this. Yes, I already updated mine. My issue really is not the map data, it is more the real traffic info, route options and ETAs provided by pivi (should have made this clear in my post). When I compare with the phone apps, almost always they have better/faster options that Pivi does not even see.

the Pivi Pro nav and maps are actually quite good, it's all done by HERE. they just don't have the same amount of "crowd sourcing" for traffic data that Google Maps does.

not sure where Apple is getting their data from these days, I know the mapping is done by TomTom. Apple sure likes to push their 3D modeling though; they even have trees now.

I check daily for 4.0 on my '22 D5.

I think at the moment it is only Apple Maps that will be available in the drivers screen, the rest will hopefully follow soon, by the way I'm in the UK and still stuck on 3.2.2

On their website it says that updated map data is automatically downloaded to the PIVI nav system. Are you saying that we need to periodically download these and do manual updates to get the latest? Downloading the maps now (6 hours left!)

I realize that the OTA updates to Pivi will come separately whenever they're pushed out.

check and see what your map data shows (apps/navigation/about/map information).

As to the 6 hours, it doesn't take that long to download the maps, it should quickly show you a shorter time remaining after the first few files download. Mine also initially showed a crazy time remaining.
