Anyone else dealing with the sunroof creaking and cracking when vehicle body is flexing at low speeds? Tends to especially be much more noticeable at colder temperatures. If you have experience similar issue anything you did to help eliminate the noise?

Its the rubber seal, same issue with the doors. I took mine back to the dealer and they applied silicone lubricant to all seals and the noise has now gone. Will probably need doing every few months but is an easy fix

 

I have the same. Not 100% sure it’s from the sunroof but it is from that area - top right in my case. I’ve tried what Rustin suggested by no change. I’m following this with interest.

 

Apply silicone lube liberally to all the rubber seals in the roof and doors. It will quiet your Defender down significantly. This big box definitely has some flex in it.

 

Clean the rubber gasket with isopropyl alcohol. Then apply Honda Shin-Etsu grease:


Same silicone I used to stop my 1988 Honda Accord sunroof seals from squeaking.
