Default Sunroof Open/Close Isuue

Hi all,
I’m 1200 miles and almost 2 months into driving my new 2021 D110 HSE X-D. Has anyone else encountered a problem opening the sunroof?Mine operated fine a couple of weeks ago and today it would not. Otherwise I’m loving it so far and hoping someone can offer a reset solution or share your experience and how it was resolved. Thanks in advance.

I’ve had mine in twice for sunroof not working. The first time they told me it worked fine and sure enough when I picked up truck, it worked again. I thought it was the extreme cold weather and service guys had it inside. Then it happened again in early March. I actually showed the service advisor as I was dropping off the truck. He saw it not working. Next day he calls me...”works just fine now. Not sure why it wasn’t working yesterday and we couldn’t find any faults/problems” Ugh! Working fine for last 6 weeks or so.

Next time it happens, try closing the sunroof blind all the way (should close automatically when you hit the close button) and then reopening it manually all the way (keep the overhead button pushed until the blind is completely retracted.) Then, try the sunroof switch and it should work again - hopefully. Don't know why/how the blind affects operation of the sunroof, but it's worked for me every time the sunroof button has become unresponsive.

Both times that my sunroof stopped working, the sun blind also stopped working. Neither button did anything....until they both started working again...

Mine has always had this issue and there's a way to hard re-start it that will get it operating again. Hold down close button for about a minute until shade begins to close and once the shade/roof no longer move/make noise. It should now be re-set and operable.

Thanks,
Joe

Press the front of the sunroof switch and hold for 20 seconds. After 20 seconds, the sunroof will begin to move. Keep the front of the switch pressed until the fully open/close cycle has completed. Once the sunroof has stopped moving, release the switch.

Thanks for the replies. I did the hard reset and it’s working fine now.

Same here, 1800 miles second time going to the dealer for the sunroof. Truck is amazing, this has been the only issue. Did read it needs to be recalibrated and hopefully it will be fixed.

Default 2020 Range Rover Evoque Blind and Sunroof

The Sun blind will one touch open but not one touch close most of the time. Once the sunroof and blind switch have completely stopped working.
I think the blind switch is defective and when used several times shorts out both switches.

Not a productive comment, I know, but I considered my 110 not having sunroof to be a major plus for a reason!

mmm, Land Rovers and sunroof issues...a tale as old as time

but seriously - out of the 3 previous Land Rovers I've owned, 100% of them had inoperable sunroofs by the time I got rid of them. because of this, I went solid roof on the 110.
