I do not know for the defender but we have a 2010 LR4 and the fridge/cooler was almost useless to the point that our next two rovers we made sure it was NOT included.

Interested to hear from those who have it in the defender as well

Just a hair under 10"

4 500ml bottles, 4 cans, ice cream, plenty of uses.

Personally, I do. If I buy I've cream and don't want to run home in Florida heat, it stays frozen for a while. Drinks stay cold but it's not great at getting them there if they start at room temperature.

Yup, love ours.

We'll carry those mini cans of sodas and/or Gatorade on long trips and can fit 6-8 of em.

We've also used it to bring ice cream to a family house all hour or two away lol.

Hey all, I'm on the "waiting list" for a 2023 Defender, in the meantime I'm buying a LR4 2016. Do they all have the coolers at that year/model or was that also an option back then? Not sure what to look for when I'm scanning sites for used ones. Just a side note, didn't mean to hijack your thread.

Definitely. I get 6 cans there, not sure why everyone always says they only fit 4. I lay them on their side, maybe that’s why. 6 is decent in hot weather, I couldn’t be without it.

it is much better than any of the previous landcover centre arm rest fridges ive had. I believe it is compressor driven now whereas before it was a heat exchanger type cooler.
I have had the condensation ice up on mine on a long trip so it definitely works very well and I think well worth having.
