Granted it's covered by some plastic but you do have a front recovery point on all trims.

Perhaps you mean front under-shield. Very useful indeed.

Mentioned previously but front undershield is a must in my opinion. Getting to your front recovery eye while stuck would be terrible without it.

Can the undershield be bought in gloss black? I don’t have any silver on the front of my defender and would like to add this, but don’t want to add any silver to the front as there’s no silver anywhere on my vehicle.

Yes and for way cheaper then oem. @ 450.00 $. Search eBay for them in black. Also I have seen a few install threads in this forum for a guide.

Bash plate in gloss black may not be the most glossy once it starts doing its job.

Also there is an element of apples and oranges here.

The OEM plate is a thick pice of Aluminum with a stronger replacement cross-member. After market options do not come with a replacement crossmember to support the plate.

It does a good job.

Yeah, I get that, but it’s my wife’s daily driver and stays mostly on the pavement. Only time it will see trails is the occasional vacation or hunting trip out west in the mountains, so I think it would serve my needs well.

OP: I personally like the larger 11.4” screen. My wife has the smaller screen in her Sport and IMO the larger 11.4” screen makes it more useful. Like you I don’t use the adaptive cruise a lot but I do like the HUD. Not sure if you can separate the two options though.

I’d recommend the heated/cooled seats. Nice build, either way
