I am getting a ThinkDiag Magic tool to use on my Porsches in order to code various things. Have used VAG-COM for years on various VW Audi cars with success. Just got my wife a new 110 V8 and want to try and get the auto start/stop to permanently stay off, and to play with other things.
I know the GAP tool mentioned here does stuff like that but the ThinkDiag is supposed to work on other brands so I hope I don't have to another tool!

I have Launch X431 for my Porsche. While it can do coding on the P-car, it seems more limited for the Land Rover. Fewer menu options and more dead ends. I wasn't able to do more than clearing codes -possibly an error with my approach as I'm new to this.
