I tackled the tow bar install this AM. Took me about 2 hours by myself. The dealer wanted 2900 to do it of which 1700 was labor.

Here’s a couple pics from the install.

Couple helpful tips.

- The exhaust drops enough to get the bolts out.
- The bumper needs very little effort to pop off once all the fasteners are out.

Awesome! Do your need the tow module? Did you install the wiring harness? Im looking at a new Defender that has the tow hitch installed, but doesn't mention the full tow package.

 

I skipped the harness and module because I only use it for recovery and my bike rack.
