Default In US is ‘the rattle’ fixed same day?

I may have the dreaded A pillar rattle in my US-spec June built P400 110 HSE. Do US dealers fix this the same day you bring it in, while you wait? Or do they diagnose one day, order parts, then you bring it back another day? I ask because I’m 300 miles from nearest dealer.

I have been told it is a same - day fix, but they are still waiting for the part for mine so until it is done I can't say 100% on timing.

My dealer said they had already done a few and 'fixed' mine in 90 minutes. BUT, if you look at the other thread here on the issue, the 'fix' is only a patch- some tape underneath the pillar cover until LR develops a real solution. They reduced the noise a bit but it still rattles. I ordered some auto acoustic foam on Amazon and cut a few bits to slide between the bottom of the pillar and the quarter panel and that seemed to help a bit too.

3M double sided emblem tape should work.
