assuming you needed to have the valves open before adding the plug. how do you keep them open after you turn the car off

Driving impressions… there’s more of a low end rumble all the time now at cruise which was welcome. The engine note now builds from idle all the way to redline which is nice.
I felt like I couldn’t hear what the engine was doing before when cruising around town — sometimes that would result in more throttle application than needed resulting in some jerky driving.
went a separate direction with the same goal. Miltek makes a valve control module that allows you to control the valves with a key fob.
i have a miltek exhaust which uses OEM valves and the module works on oem v8 exhaust.
a little pricey but they have a 10% discount right now. it was around 350 shipped to me.
install was pretty straight forward although it didn’t come with any instructions. plugs into your oem connect and bypasses with another plug. does not need separate power source which is pretty cool.
has three modes, open, closed and stock so you can retain the stock function.
the module is not water proof so you will need to wire it into the trunk. there is a rubber grommet in the trunk area, small cut and slip the wires down, bunch of zip ties and your good.
prob not a mod for the true off roaders wadding in a couple fit of water but sure you could seal the grommet cut.
I finally got these parts from Ali Express and did the mod. It didn’t seem too noticeable at first, except at start up, but after a thousand miles it produces all the volume I want. Especially around 1500 rpm when under load, awesome. I’d recommend trying this before installing an aftermarket system.
