Default Wait time on second key fob?

My dealer said 6 months, I was wondering when others have received theirs. Thanks

Picked up my car in November. Have not received.

Dealer tells me there is a more formal process in place now, where they release batches of vehicles by VIN when they are authorized to program second keys. This was apparently due to volume and sporadic ordering by US dealers who were attempting to circumvent long wait times for certain customers. Anyone else heard this?

So what happens if someone misplaced their key or loses it. If there's no second key then they're stuck?

When I took delivery of my 110 this September I was given one complete key fob and also a physical blade key that can be used to lock and start the car

They'll find a chip and gladly charge you $1000 for the key

Has anyone taken delivery in the last two weeks? I oddly got two when taking delivery on Saturday so wondering if the chip shortage is getting better for them.

Same here. Reached out twice to see what the deal was but no ETA.

I used the blade key to unlock Defender the other day and the car alarm went off and it didn’t stop until I got the fob and locked the car again. Can I really start the car with it? Is there a setting I should use?
