Default What is This?

CarBuzz and others saying SVR. Seems wrong.

Original post below. Maybe they have a better answer there but I have no IG and can't view comments.

Hmmmm… hard to imagine why camo is used; we, ummmm, already know what a 663 looks like. If it’s just a new variant of same, like SVR, do your testing in a standard looking 663 and nobody will be the wiser.

I can't tell from the angles, but is this the longer D130?

Forgetting about what it is for a moment....I cannot even begin to imagine what a handful that heavy lug would be on the 'Ring. I have driven the 'Ring in a track prepped M3 - and have the V8 Defender and would never / ever have the intestinal fortitude to run that vehicle at speed on the track. Just....wow.

My guess is a V8 110 with the BMW V8 replacing the Ford V8. They probably had one left over from initial testing with camo already on it.

Remember when Sabine Schmitz almost broke a 10 minute lap in a cargo van! She was passing Porsches and sport bikes left and right.

100% - she would have been the one to handle the Defender for sure (actually got to hang out with her at her bar near the 'Ring about five years ago, wonderful/ fun person - completely down to earth - the world needs more people like Sabine).
