Thanks! I will try and get more pics this weekend. I don’t really have any other than that one that I popped my head out during a rainstorm and took for a friend. 😀

looks great! it looks fantastic with KO2s - I am looking at 110 with the 6 cyln. and 19" rims - looking at Goodyear with Kevlar when OEM tires need replacing. would like a tire with some sidewall protection - mostly for keeping a curb away from my rims. looks great, but curious why you chose the 20" instead of the 19"?

Mainly the tyre options……especially here in the UK, 19” options are so few and far between and the cost is cheaper for 20” due to their popularity. Also, be careful with the Goodyear as although they fit the Kevlar technology in all Wrangler tyres, they don’t fit it to the sizes that LR use for the Defender, so they’re not protected and have the sidewall consistency of kitchen roll! 🤦‍♂️🥵

I went with the 20’s because that was as small as I could go with the larger brakes on the V8. I would have gone down to 18’s if I didn’t have the larger brakes. I like as much sidewall as possible when I air down.

I definitely got some quizzical looks from the dealer when I had them install it. I lucked into the V8 and always planned to use my Defender as an overlander. I had gone in on a Friday and picked out a 110. They had a decent number of them on the lot and so it took me awhile to decide which one I liked best. Somehow, my sales guy and I both missed the fact that the one I picked don’t have the air suspension, which was a must have for me. I didn’t realize it until I was home that night. I was going back in on Saturday to pick up a D90 for my mother and I joked with the sales manager about how blind I was by missing the air suspension. He said go pick another one and I will back this sale out. While I was back on the lot looking again, my sales guy came up and told me that someone had just canceled their order for a V8 that had just come in that morning. Which is how I ended up with the V8. I figured that the V8 would be good to have, with the extra torque.
I do a lot of dirt roads which is why I got the RAI, I don’t think it even increases wading depth, so definitely not for that! 😀

I don't have a V8 so may be wrong here but I thought the V8 had a dual intake so a RAI would need to be installed on both sides to take full advantage of it.
