They sure don't look like they would be very hard to clean to me.
True that, I got rid of my 22's after a week and put the stock flat black 20's on. I even went so far as to buy another set of 20's and powder coated them white with BFGs.

Those wheels are actually nice. I would not be opposed to having those on my defender, if I never took it off road, more so in muddy and snowy conditions. I'm with @Ronin Defender on this, The inside of those wheels will be really difficult to clean properly if you ever get mud in there... Unless, maybe, if you're running balancing beads instead of weights.

Regardless, that wheels do look nice, and if you have to spend an extra 20 minutes to clean out the inside of the wheels, well, that's the price you'll have to pay..

For me snow yes a couple times of year, mud not so much, at least not the deep sort mud that can creat tire balance concerns ,
My garage is climate controlled year around, so any snow building up in a wheel, would melt soon as it gets parked in the garage for a few hours.

‘This is the wheel LR chose for their new Defender Octa their latest greatest super off-road Defender for 2025.
I would think if it were a problem off-road, it would not have been the wheel of choice for the new OCTA.

I love the look of the Octa 20” wheels, I really hated looks of 5 spoke gloss black 22s.

Finally got my Defender back after two weeks at the dealer waiting for a new keyless entry wiring harness overlay and a new center console armrest. I went through two Discovery Sport loaner cars (the first one had a window that wouldn't go back up) and I'm glad to be back in the Defender that now has a completely functional keyless entry system!

Back to playing around with custom configurations using my new GAP tool.
‘Now have configurable dynamic mode.
‘Also shut off the brake hold feature entirely, I really hated that brake hood feature. Almost as much as I hated that start stop crap that I permanently shut off a few days ago with my GAP tool soon as I got it out of the box. lol
‘Loving this GAP tool.
