What do you think about the all-new Nissan Armada PRO-4X
Just like the Lexus GX, if those hideous running boards are mandatory, I have zero interest. Our tall family doesn't need them and it's awkward to get past them when entering and exiting the vehicle.
Front is as ugly as a Hyundai Palisade or any Genesis, and they stuck on the Rudolph red nose.

Looks pretty nice to me, I'd probably at least test drive one if I were shopping around for that type vehicle. Last time I test drove a Nissan was a Kicks for my son as a first car. I liked that Nissan followed up with me afterwards to see if the dealership was taking care of me properly. We didn't buy it but anyway, haven't had that happen from any other brand. My ex wife had two Rogues which were reliable but not fun at all with the CVTs. Nissan eventually got smart and ditched CVTs at least for these bigger SUVs in the lineup like the Pathfinder etc.
Your call, if the Nissan dealership in your locale is really top notch I'd at least consider one. Might be worth checking out what I would assume is the premium version of it with a QX80? Longer factory warranty is always nice, might be more of a premium dealership experience in your area.

First off, it isn't even close to a direct competitor to the Defender. Much bigger, body-on-frame truck vs a unibody dedicated luxury 4x4. It looks like mostly a huge improvement over the old one, though. I've rented numerous Armadas/QX80s over the years and I do really like that 5.6 V8. Not sure how this new 3.5 TT V6 will be. But it is still a Nissan, and you they'll sell these to people who have no right owning one - those with a 370 credit score, 28% interest and a 12 year loan and will no doubt be cosmetically destroyed within six to twelve months.
Looks nice enough, but the large body on frame SUV segment is pretty crowded. At any rate, I can't forget what my brother said to me, who is a GM of a chevy store but has worked at many brands. "Nissans are Japanese cars for people with bad credit."

..you are so special..
I don’t know , I could see it or the infinity version getting cross shopped with the 130s .
‘There is definitely some the same boxes getting checked by them.
I owned a 2017 Armada , super comfortable seats, nice performance from its v8. I thought it was a really nice SUV.
The new one lost its v8 so it would not be on my shopping list for that reason alone.
