I am wondering why you decided against the Off-road pack -- which is the only economical manner to enjoy the performance of the rear edifferential, both on and off road?
You have purchased 22 in wheels, which suggests you do not intend to go off-road ... but maybe you will change you mind in the future?
Since you are new here and it doesn't appear that you have been reading any of the new Defender forums, the answer to your question about the extended warranty is YES. Now, if you plan on selling it in three years I'd say no. If you plan on keeping it for a while then YES.

JLR has a 4 year warranty so purchasing an extended warranty with plans to sell the vehicle in three years wouldn't even make any sense. JLR also does not seem to sell their own warranties and this prior post did not disclose that. That means the coverage or the price you pay for it could very greatly vs your expectation or experience with other luxury brands that do sell extended warranties.
JLR has a poor reliability report. Everyone knows that. Weather you take your money and you would spend on an extended warranty and invest it in something else ( a stock for example) is your choice. Good point about the 4 year warranty. What does that cover?
Again, if you plan on keeping the vehicle past the included 4 year warranty, it would be wise to at least research what warranty options are available. When something goes wrong with these vehicles, the cost to repair is through the roof. If you just spent $80,000 on a new truck, why not spend the money for a warranty to have peace of mind when something does go wrong?

As others have said, the 22" wheels don't make much sense in this specific type of vehicle, under any conditions. This is no sports car or even "sporty" SUV where a performance wheel and tire setup may mean meaningful handling gains. 22s look good, but offer exactly zero advantages over smaller wheels with beefier tires, and also kind of lobotomize the Defender. If looks are that important to you, by all means go for them as it is your car.
Otherwise, consider downsizing to one of the many 20" wheels available (it's probably a No Cost Option on your trim.) You will lose nothing in performance, gain a considerable amount of comfort on the road and the ability to use the car for what it was designed, to go off-road if and when you feel like it. Even on a dirt road, 22" wheels, with related rubber bands for tires, are an expensive gamble to take. One pebble too many and you are screwed.
