Where's Waldo? Or actually - What's Waldo?
I'm working on connecting a Trigger-4 in my engine compartment (Link). I have a nice spot for it and I started wiring up the power. Standard ground, power, and a controller wire to tap into a fuse that's only on when the ignition is on. Standard fare and I think I can work my way around the electronics.
However, when starting to tap into the "hot", I saw two connectors that appear "capped" off. If what I think they are, these would be perfect! At least for the +/-. Does anyone know what this connector is? It says "PBT-HI-GF (10)" one side. I can google an old GM connector on ebay but the page doesn't exist any longer. On the other side is 21738 19922.
This is where it is. That capped connector in lower right. This is on the right side of the engine compartment.
What the "capped" connector looks like.
A connector like this in use (I should trace it to the electrical diagram).
Empty and waiting for a PIN! Need to find a pin that fits in there once I identify the connector.
EDIT: Junction Box, Auxiliary or Auxiliary Junction Box apparently from the wiring diagrams so far. Still hunting....
EDIT2: That Blue/Red wire are two 60amp connections into the power steering system. Both hot. I think the other two are different connectors for power steering systems I don't have. So, anyone know of a PIN connector that will work with this?

I got nothing, but just wanted to say you’re a gutsy sunovabitch. Electrical gives me the dry heaves. You seem to know your way around a pair of strippers a lot better than I do.
I installed 3 sets of auxiliary lights, a winch, backup lights, and a CB on my JK Wrangler, the world’s simplest-to-understand modern vehicle, and every time I reconnected the battery terminals after the wiring job I fully expected an explosion and garage fire. When they actually worked I nearly fainted.

Thanks, all! I finally just gave up and went old school. Surprisingly, JLR made it REAL easy to access that JBA (Junction Box, Auxiliary) on the back side. Then I grounded to where you're supposed to ground when jumping the Defender. Everything worked out in the end.
@NoGaBiker - I have a love/hate relationship with electricity. My dad used to have all sorts of pleasure (ok, way before social services) in shocking me. We had an electric fence around a pig lot and that was full of teenage pranks amongst the friends & brothers. Now, I am VERY careful around it.
Amazingly easy to access power. Just like the OLD Defender!
Cover and ready to go.

Yep. That's the winch and the mega fuse is under that black cover. Zip tied because I'm paranoid. I took the "road less traveled". Yours likely is routed where I brought in the Trigger-4 power. Oh, and no pic, but there's a switch in line with that and I have the power totally isolated when I'm not using the winch.
Good eye!
