Actually, every one is a PTS (paint-to-sample) special-order color ($12,000 adder at the time of the photo), so they never sat on the lot

But Porsche does have a decent palette of bright colors at any given time, most of them either free or 1200-ish dollars. My current Carmine Red is a Premium color, a little deeper than the standard Guards Red.

It does seem a little odd to have such limited colors but even the FFRR which used to have like 40 colors you could pay for (including an option for a custom one-off color of your choice) seems to be limited to a much smaller pallete these days. Don't expect Punk'n Orange or Tuscadero Pink from LR though, the Defender is too "refined" for such colors. They will always be a bit more muted than the skittles above.

I’m not looking for Skittles (or Life Savers!) but a deeper blue, deeper green or—-dare I say it—a RED wouldn’t kill them!

Having seen both Tasman and Pangea in the same night (though not side by side) I’d say Tasman is better, even though I subsequently went with Pangea.

I picked Pangea because I love green and hope to spend a lot of time driving through forest roads. Also thought I might get tired of Tasman in 6-18 months and I hope to keep this car for 10 years+. But Tasman is the richer color and is honestly beautiful ESPECIALLY with the steelies and white roof (imo going with the steelies is the most important part). I went with the Pangea roof but may wrap it in white in the future.

Well if ya want a Deep Red, you’re gonna have to go with Sedona Red on the 130 for now, they might eventually bring it to the 90/110 tho. However, if ya want some more “color” to the green, you can add the satin wrap for $4995 (if in the states), which makes it matte and cool looking, then add white or black contrast roof.

I have thought about wrapping a darker green or darker blue. Or maybe getting it all black and wrapping the fenders and doors in satin Eiger for more of an X look. Either way I will want a contrasting roof (white with Tasmin or Pangea).

Love what Romans has done with this one, but it definitely would have been nice to see some greater variety.
Although after chatting with some LR dealers, even the "boring" colors were under supply chain constraints (white, silver, etc.), forcing them to allocate to specific models/production cycles.
