Aside from the Launch Edition cars which were the inline 6 with the white roof and jump seat, it would seem you can only get a white roof on a base Defender with the smaller 4 cylinder engine. Is that correct as far as everyone else can tell? Apologies if this has been covered I'm new here and only had a rangerovers.net account. All I really want is a green Defender with a white roof, a V8, and small wheels. I know outside of a wrap it likely won't happen, but was curious if there was even a way to build the mid-power car with a white roof anymore. My mother is still sort of between a Defender and a G wagon and the idea of a two door V8 has some appeal for both of us. Her last three cars were Land Rovers, two white L322 full size Range Rovers one of which we still have and a Loire Blue Disco 5. We don't really miss the Disco even if it had its strengths.

So yeah mainly curious about the white roof thing and wanted to introduce myself. Sorta curious about other colors for the V8 cars but with them seemingly delayed I doubt there is a lot of leaked info on future plans. Cheers

 

V8 limited in color options and definitely not available with white roof. You could always get the roof wrapped in white.

 

The white roofs require certain main body colors like pangea, tasman, hakuba, carpathian, and silicon silver. I think the SE Model is the highest one you can get a white colored roof with.

The V8 only has a few color choices. So you would have to wrap the vehicle like you mentioned to get the color combo you wanted. If you want the v8 then that is probably the way to go?

 

I don’t even think you can get it on the 6 cylinder never mind the 8.

I had to stay SE or below in order to get the white roof on my ‘21, but it’s available with the 6. Nothing’s changed with that.

 

I tried to configure that way and the white roof does not come up as an option on the SE or the HSE on the US site.

 

White roof is only an option with some colors.

Blue Green and Silver All have the option of white roof at Base SE level trim.

The other colors do not give you that option.

 

I am on the Build site now and no white roof available on the P400 SE with any color.

If I want Blue with White and any kind of opening roof, my only option is P300 S.

 

I just tried it and had no issue. I selected a 2022, S model, i6 engine (upgrade to SE), then pangea green and white top. That's as far as I went, but here is the build url:
