I think I've read every single thread (which are many) on the wheel thing. But it seems like all of them are questions about making 18" steelies from a P300 fit on a P400. My situation is different.
I have a 2023.5 110 S (P300) with steel wheels. I am considering trading it on a 2026 110 S (P300), but the factory no longer offers the 18" steel wheel as an option. If I order the car with the standard 19" alloys, will I have a problem putting my 18" steel wheels on it?
I am assuming not, and my dealer is assuming not, but my sales guy is a bit equivocal about it so I thought I'd check. Sorry if this has been answered in a previous thread -- I swear I read every thread on the wheel topic I could find!
there has been no change to the brakes on the P300.
LR should be embarrassed that they don’t offer US customers a useful wheel. Australians can still get them.
First they nuked the 18” alloy and then the steel. At launch they were faffing on about how great they were and how functional the new Defender would be on them.
now they offer probably 5 different hideous Escalade-like 22” rims and no 18”
Thank you, @GavinC! I figured this was the case, but wanted to check to be sure.
Totally agree about the silly 22" wheels. The car doesn't look too bad with the 19"s they offer, but I'd still just rather have the 18"s and there aren't many good tire choices in 19" anyway.
Now if I could only decide on Woolstone green or Fuji white.....
I'm not so sure... It appears that for the 26MY they did in fact change the brakes.
After looking at multiple P300s, it appears that for the 26MY they all get the big Brembo brakes, meaning 18" wheels won't fit unless you grind the rear calipers or swap them out.
See the vehicles linked below - you can clearly tell they have the larger 4-pot Brembos. These are just a few I found, but every P300 I looked at online had the big brakes.

@Myron Sorry if I’ve steered you wrong. I’ve not looked a these links but Cincy seems to have done more thorough homework on this topic.
my answer was based on the info I’d come across. I guess I need to keep my dumb mouth shut more.
my understanding was that there was no change to the brakes.
I was also under the impression that they didn't change the brakes, but I'm glad I looked into it just to be sure.
I still can't 100% confirm that the Brembos are the only brakes on US-spec P300s. But it certainly looks to be that way based on my quick research. You'd think at least one in the 15 or so I looked at would've had the smaller brakes.
@GavinC no problem! Both you and @CincyRovers are such prolific contributors, and I really appreciate your help and advice.
I stopped by my dealer today to pick up my 2023 after having it detailed (brought it back from a 5K mile trip thru eastern Canada quite trashed), and I took some pics of a MY26 Woolstone Green 110. I'd order one of these today (with a white roof, of course, and no shiny black plastic bits, and no hard spare wheel cover) if my 18" steel wheels would fit!
I don't care for the 20" alloy lookalikes, but even if I didn't mind that wheel, Land Rover decouples the white roof option if you select the lookalike wheels. Incredible. @Land Rover, please just let me order my Defender how I want it!
Anyway, my 2023 came back from detailing like new (almost) and I have two sets of the steelies for it (KO2's for summer, snows for winter, natch) so I think Land Rover won't be getting my money for a 2026 Woolstone.
Mine after getting the spa treatment at my dealer:
The Woolstone Green 110 on the lot. I don't care for all the shiny black plastic and the black roof, but otherwise I love this color!
