Default Windshield washer fluid spray delay

Does anyone else's wipers take a second to start spraying? My rear one is near instantaneous but my fronts will do a cycle dry wipe (ugh) before the fluid reaches the nozzles. Not really great for the life of the blades, windshield, and for visibility in adverse weather conditions.

Is there a check valve somewhere in the system that might need to be replaced? I have a V8 so the bottle is in a different location compared to the other engine options, not sure if that matters.

Mine are instant, no delay. I assume there is a non return valve somewhere in the system and yours is possibly faulty.

I don't see one in the parts diagram -- wonder if it is on the bottle or integrated on the nozzles?

Mine (MY22 110 SE) does the same...hate it.

Would love a fix.

Typically it's integrated into the pump. I don't have the diagrams but I would think there are 2 pumps, one for front and another for back.

My rear washer stopped working, and I’ve been digging into fixing it and from what I have found there is one pump, mounted to the washer reservoir which is located under the inner wheel well liner of the front right wheel, toward the rear of the wheel well. Has anyone else experienced this same issue? And if anyone has diagrams or knowledge of the routing of the washer tubing to the rear door, please share it.

Rear door, hose is coming from the D pillar ( rear right), goes down into the rear door. There is a coupler after 8" then to the rear wiper washermotor.
I have the same, but nothing is leaking at the reardoor section, so for me no use of opening the rear panel to look, it has to be somewhere else...

Thanks for the pic and info. I can hear the pump motor run, and I get a spray using the front washer but not the rear when selected. I see a small dribble of water under the nozzle that washes the backup camera, so I’m guessing that I have a functioning pump but possibly an obstruction in the line leading to the rear door. I purchased a vacuum/pressure gun and my next step is to alternately apply pressure on the tubing from the pump to the rear, and vacuum on the tubing where it connects inside the rear door. I had already removed the spare tire, disconnected the washer tubing from the wiper arm and blew into the line and heard air escaping the wiper arm, so I need to track down the obstruction between point A and point B.
