When I use the wiper fluid, the headlights get the proper wiper fluid, but it doesn't make it to the windshield. The cleaning fluid pours down the driver side wheel well.

maybe a tube disconnected while replacing the light bulb on the driver's side headlight?

anyone experience this?

You answered your own question, start following the hoses from the washer fluid tank until you find the leak.

So crawl under the truck and fix the bad hose

 

a common problem is the tube disconnect at the nozzles on the hood. the plastic just gets old and cracks and the tube will no longer stay on the nozzles.

 

Fixed... a tube behind the driver side headlight disconnected

all good now
