Default Winter Romp! Who is going? Activations available

Its that time of year again! The 1st and possibly best Land Rover event of the year. Feb 13 thru 15. We will be traveling from Richmond to Maine hoping for cold temps and lots of snow. Great opportunity to drive in some unique conditions and meet a lot of very cool people. It is a charity event for Habitat for Humanity. Here is the link Winter Romp .

We can also makes stops along the route if you would like some features activated. We can also meet at the event. I guarantee you will have a blast! Reach out to me via pm or reply to the post for more info about the event or questions about activations .

I'd love to come - its only about an hour and a half away from me. But I don't think the Defender is ready for that kind of abuse. Still have the factory tires on it and no lift and OEM bumpers and no skid plates and no sliders yaddayaddayadda. Can I tag in my dedicated offroad rig? Would love to get the X-dynamic mode and ACC activated on the 110SE...

Just be ready to be disappointed by the snow. I know its still a couple weeks away, but the coast hasn't gotten ANY respectable amounts of snow so far this year. In fact, as I look out over my lawn towards the Atlantic, I see green grass (still, sigh) and some flurries - but nothing that will accumulate.

It's been plenty cold enough for it, just no moisture to make it happen.

I have a friend who winter romp last year, and his Defender is on all-seasons and had no issues whatsoever. I wouldn’t be too worried. YOLO!

Yeah, last year wasnt that much snow. But you never know. Thats the beauty of Winter Romp. I would come with your stock defender. You can check out the terrain and make the decision if you want to run trails. As stated above, plenty of stock vehicles run the trails. The weather conditions dictate trail conditions. Also, it is a very social event. We have had so much snow in the past, we could even run trails. These events were still so much fun. I suggest a set of ladder chains for the rear tires and you will likely be able to drive everywhere you want. There will be a chilli cookoff also, plus lots of other fun stuff. Since it is so close to you, its a no brainer to come have fun even if you choose to not trail you defender. Just ride with someone. We can take care of your activations also. Win win.

Ok, you guys convinced me. I'll try to make it up for the day on Saturday. I didn't see anything on the website that indicated whether or not dogs are allowed or not.

Dogs are absolutely allowed. Just register on the site. It is free. Look forward to meeting up.

Sarek

Would you be able to stop in Northern Virginia to do activations on a MY24 P300?

I have yet to attend a Land Rover function. I just might make this my first.
