Wireless Carplay

Wireless Carplay
Just got a popup asking me to update the software, mentions wireless carplay is included in the update. We'll have to see how this works in the morning. Up until now I haven't bothered with carplay myself and the hardwired requirement was a bit of a deterrent. I really only stream music from the iphone anyway so maybe for me it won't be huge but I can see where others may benefit. Enjoy! and don't forget to double-check the settings you've toggled off. You know the drill.

I literally just took delivery of my 110 today. Got in, set the phone on the charger and connected Bluetooth and wireless car play was active. My sales consultant mentioned a delivery he performed yesterday, had the same thing happen.
It’s so new, I have no idea what update it’s on. I did check for updates, and it said I was in the latest. Didn’t pay attention to the version. I can check in the morning.

This morning after getting to work, I got a prompt for the update. So far it has failed to install, but no details as to why. I just set it to install again so we'll see in a bit. A little frustrating since I really look forward to wireless Android Auto, but not the end of the world if I have to plug my phone in a few more times.

remember to remove your phone profile and then reinstall it again. This was mentioned in the video above about getting android auto/car play working properly Also I have found that unplugging any cables you have in the dash for the phone, helps load the software properly.
