Wood Interior Accents
I too agonized over this. The configurator and many online pictures I found (this was early 2021) made the lighter rough cut wood look orange so I was planning to order the darker, even though, with Khaki interior I felt the lighter was more appropriate. But I finally found a guy at the dealership who had a sample of all the Land Rover woods (on a keychain, like Formica samples at Home Depot) and the rough cut was perfect, no orange at all. I’ve had it a year now and love it.
I am not the kind of guy to splurge on fancy things like "wood accents." That said, when I saw a Defender at the dealer with the rough cut wood I really liked the look and added it to my order. I have zero regrets and find that it adds a nice ambience to a somewhat utilitarian interior.
Also note -- the wood accents aren't just on the center console -- there are also pieces on the back door (interior) handles and passenger handle.

I regretted not getting the wood. For backseat accessibility I also regretted getting the 90 instead of the 110 so much so that I was configuring a new order for a base-ish 110 at one point and at that time for whatever reason the dark wood was no upcharge. Definitely for 'free' it's a no brainer but I'd recommend paying extra for it either way.
LOL, I read GrouseK9’s question to you below and my brain said, “GTBeale? That sounds like maybe it’s BealeAss from the Rennlist GT4 DeMan thread.” So I come up here and look at your siggy and yup, it’s you.
We seem to have very similar taste. I even have that Yeti 32oz in that color in my console.
No DeMan conversion for me, though. After several big hp Porsches the 981 GT4 suits me just fine. Even 6 years in it’s still right in my wheelhouse with just a Soul header and Softronic tune to smooth out the flat spot.
But it’s probably best I never drive a 4.5 conversion, for the same reason 6-year-sober alcoholics ought not drink a glass of Scotch.

Anyway, @gtbeale Corey - this is Joe who bought your Clubman a few years ago on Rennlist. It was short lived, but the novelty from that little thing was great! Somehow it evolved into a G Wagen, so at least net impact was probably pretty even?
