Default Yulong White vs Fuji White spare tire cover ?

Not realizing that there were two different white paints offered on the Land Rover Defenders.
I mistakenly order my spare tire cover in Fuji white.

Anyone know if there a noticeable difference in the two white paints?
The look the same in the pictures I have seen.

My Land Rover is actually Yulong white.
The spare cover that is now in transit to me is in Fuji White.

Wonder how much a body shop would charge to color match it, if it's not the same shade.... I don't suspect it would be too expensive.

Incidentally, is this a genuine part, or aftermarket? If aftermarket, would you mind pointing me to the manufacturer? Thank you sir.

LOL
I am going to assume it is aftermarket, but more often then not these days, the Factory parts and the Aftermarket parts are all made in China.
This item is shipping from China.
So, it's hard to say if it the same part or not.

Yulong White is nothing like Fuji. Fuji is a solid white, while Yulong is a metallic with a slight blue tone to it. In pictures they look similar, but if you were to slap a Fuji tire cover on a Yulong car, it'd be painfully obvious.

Thanks !
Thats what I was afraid of.
So far, I have not found a spare tire cover even offered in Yulong white.

I was in hopes that it was the same color only metallic vs nonmetallic, that it might not be noticeable.
Does not look like I can cancel it, since it already shipped. I imagine I will either live with it or leave it off.

I will have to see just how noticeable it is once it gets here.

IIRC, they quit offering Yulong before they started offering body-colored tire covers. However, I could be wrong on that.

I’d find a good body shop that could paint the center colored portion for you. The colored portion is removable from the tire, which helps. I bought a damaged black cover from my dealer at a discount and I had my buddy's shop paint it in the same silver as the bumpers.

I have attached a picture of my tire cover (albeit a rather ****ty one because my car is in for service at the moment). You wouldn’t know it was originally black.

One option if you don't like the matte grey one ... is to get an all gloss black one. They look good on just about any color.

Yulong White is known for being very hard to match properly. Unlikely that any vinyl wrap would come close.

The Fuji white cover came in today.
‘It is noticeable no doubt about it. Not as bad as I thought it was going to be.
‘I think I will wait and see how my new wheels and tires look once I get them installed.
‘I did order a matching spare rim and tire.
Might just go without a cover.
‘I am really surprised I can’t find anywhere to order proper color match cover in Yulong white.

It depends how OCD you are about looks. I'm too OCD, I would have to have it matching. Others may not care at all. The "Defender" badging is supposed to be in body color for MY24 so it looks like an aftermarket part. Unless it's supposed to be black for your model year? I like the body color badging it's more subtle, and it will match your silver emblems better. It's bizarre you can't order the exact cover you need, is it because the color is discontinued?

The badging has always been in the color of the wheel cover since launch, but I dig the black badging! You can't get a Yulong cover because IIRC, they discontinued the color before they started offering body-colored wheel covers.
