This last week I attend the rally, which was held at Whistler BC. Although the weather did not play along, light rain/Drizzle most of the weekend everyone appeared to have a great time. Lots of vendors and activities, everyone was cheerful and very helpful in the vendor section. The event was very well organized well in advance.
From a vendor view point lots of local groups, ARB ,Warn a as well as 9-Line out of Savannah , they drove to the NW Overland and came up last minute. The ladies from the Rebelle Rally were well represented, if you have a chance to support their efforts or a competitor it would l be well worth your time.
More to come
Quiet parking area - I am just off camera to the right Snow on the close mountains, look past the vendor area. Camping area 2 the VW Vanagons are circled, must be a protective thing Camping area 3 Vendor area front
The event schedule, this was last minute for me as getting time off was difficult. In general I spoke to vendors, other folks as well as attending several sessions. There were 4 or 5 Disco's, several LR3 's,Defenders and Series trucks Overland schedule for the weekend
And because this is a Land Rover forum, my happy little Disco, Iwas a little ways away from everyone which resulted in a late night bear visitor. Just a little guy peaking in the Disco, I figure he wanted a dry place to sleep or my snoring was disturbing him I purchased a plastic beach mat after this trip, for better mud protection
Rear tarp system works well, now I have to custom order a tarp, 5 x 6
