On the way back to school today I went the long way around and decided to catch some fresh air out of the city. I went to the Caryville Flats out of Caryville, Tennessee and did a little exploring. These flats are accessed by hairpin gravel roads up the side of a mountain and furthermore by narrow trails to the top. But once up there the view is awesome and you can sneak on to the Windrock trails

For any SE Tenn/Knoxville guys; ride I75 until Exit 134 Caryville. Right beside Shoney's jump on Mountain Road and ride that one all the way to the top. Once to the top hang a left and begin the trail riding, just keep taking the trails that increase elevation and you will end up there.

Did some wading and crawling around but nothing trivial due to the fact it was just me without my winch bumper. (SafariGard still waiting to be installed)
