Look forward to seeing you guys there. This will be my first experience at a land Rover event and my first time offroading so go easy on me and dont hesitate to stop by and say hello!

Drive safe everyone I hear the roads are going to be nasty as 2 more storms are expected to hit New England!

FYI Winter Romp: I will be bringing a D2 spare front driveshaft as a backup should anyone need one... it was pulled from my 04 D2 and swapped out for a Proshaft fully serviceable shaft. Seek me out if you or anybody else at the event needs it - its free!

Gotta love people who drive around with their LED's on @ 2pm, even though people keep telling them to turn it off.

Like the freakin' people in the bro-dozers with 12" of lift and HID "upgrades" in their headlights AND fogs lights driving around with their LED light bars on too. I'm half tempted to accidentally run one off the road and claim I was "blinded" by their ridiculous lights. Of course now that this is posted, I'm unable to do that...

Yea, this seriously happened. I don't know who it was, but I saw them driving at 2pm down the main road with their LED bar on. I then heard several people told them to turn it off, and every time they did, this person acted like they didn't realize it was on and they turned it off. Then it would be on again. Blinding people. In the daylight.

I'm heading to chick-fil-a you want any thing?

I was craving a Big-G's breakfast sandwich this morning...

Romp was a great time, the trails were tough, the snow was deep, the temps were low, but the Rover brotherhood was at a all time high

Must have been somebody with a new light bar. Kind of like the sleep-with-the-new-toy principle (not that kind of sleep!)

Sorry I missed it. I had to stay home and dig out from another blizzard. Actually, I had no time anyway. Glad to hear it was a good time, aside from the retinal damage.

This was my first time at Winter Romp but I can tell you that there was more damage than to the retinal. One vehicle busted both diffs, a old redneck chevy snapped a driveshaft, a fuel pump failure on a D1, a couple broken mirrors, broken/cracked front bumpers etc.

It was crazy.
