Mar/conclave
Well....the cat is out of the bag, the smoke is clearing, and the cloaks are coming off.
The MAR/CONCLAVE will be held at the Cove Campground in Gore, Va., on Sept 20, thru Sept 23.
This will be THE PREMIER WHEELING AND SOCIAL EVENT!
There have been alot of us working very hard to pull the community back together in the last few months, and we think we have hit it on the head.
SAVE THE DATE! You don't want to miss this!
As for cost structure...the Cove will be collecting $45 for a land use fee, and $15 per night camping per person. The registration fee is $80. Tshirts and a meal ticket will be extra.
We are working out the final details, and a pre-registration page will be up soon at ROAV.org.

The NELRC Convoy for Heroes will end at Conclave on Thursday September 20. More info to come but the website is functional. 2012 Convoy for Heroes and I will create another thread with additional info.

I know the Fort Pitt Land Rover Group always enjoyed their road trips down there to participate in MAR. Great event. Do Not Miss It.

Have you considered adding a proposed map of your route down. Maybe some Rover Owners along the way may want to join up with you!
I have always wanted to go ever since I got my Discovery. A caravan is a great way to travel with the Land Rovers as you never know when you may need some help or be able to help others.
Lots of time to do some planning sincve it is a few months ahead. I am trying to get my Discovery ready for a nice camping trip and I know from my FPLRG friends that this is one of the best on the East Coast.
Your group also is supporting a worthwhile event. Let me know how it progrsses.
