Yes say the word!!! I am not looking for any thing crazy, but I want a learning experience with my new LR3. If anyone knows of somewhere better to go, I am always open to other ideas.

The closest place is the Badlands and it's not bad.

You should take a look at the Lucky8 LR3 thread lots of good info in there and modifications for the LR3 for off road.

That truck is a beast and the guys at Lucky8 have done some really interesting things with it.

Yeah I looked at his truck and say some pretty great things. I have actually be talking to Jim Biram from here and a few other forums for a few years now and finally found "the one" to buy. I really like the 19" wheels on the HSE and thinking of going with the 255/55R19 DuraTrac's first off... Have some brand new Pirelli Scorpion Verde's right now, and they seem nice on road and so far haven't be terrible off road, but I haven't really been crazy with it yet...

Things get crazy quick lol. Make sure you have some recovery points front and rear in case you get stuck out there.

We can stick to the lighter stuff though but the bug to try something tougher always bites you sooner or later lol.

I would definitely be interested in a trip to The Cliffs. I've never been there before. I live in Madison, WI. Camping would be ok. Might bring my kids (11 and 14). Send me a private message with your contact info and we can chat.

Kind of late to this thread, but I would love to go to Cliffs or the Badlands. I 've been to both several times. It has been awhile though. I will not be able to do anything until late June. I am waiting to buy a truck by then.
