The wife and I headed out to the Olympic Peninsula this weekend for a mini-vacation. We spent a couple days at the Sol Duc Hot Springs and visited a couple spots on the way out including Hurricane Ridge in the Olympic National Park. This is one of the higher, drive-able elevations in Washington state so it was cool to get up there. Not any challenging trails, but one gravel road that took us out for some pretty spectacular views. Hurricane Ridge elevation is 5250' at the main NP building. Here are a couple pics.
