It's almost that time of year again, Veterans Day weekend in Pennsylvania. Can't think of a better way to spend a 4 day weekend!
Here are the details. For those that don't know Dave Carroll was a great friend of the Rover Community that passed away recently having lost the battle with cancer. I'm in for 2 shirts as it is a great cause with all the profits going to the family.
This year looks to be the biggest and bestest to date and why wouldnt it be? This will be our 10th year hosting the only Land Rover specific time-trial event in the USA. Come join us for a great weekend at Anthracite Off-Road Park and tell your friends, too. We have a group of campsites blocked off for us at Trailhead Campground which is on the AOAA property. We will release more details as we have them.
To get a campsite that we have blocked off for our event you must book it through this link.
I fly 0530 on Thursday the 8th to Buffalo arriving around 930. I know, I know I'm the guy the drives to events but I have to leave the LR3 at home for this one.
My bag is packed with clothes, camping gear, and my tool kit.
So I can pick up my 1991 Range Rover Classic Hunter and rock it all weekend at Rovers on the Rocks. So keep an eye out for me in my new member of the Rover family.
Don't forget if you are wanting in on the catered meal to buy your tickets soon.
Made it to Buffalo and met up with the crew from Lucky8. A few short hours later we were on the road to ROTR X.
Arrived set up camp and went for some dinner. So far off to a great start and looking forward to tomorrow!
After our meal we sat and chatted with the owner, about the positive impact that AOAA has had on the community. Great little place definitely check it out
