Solaros Ride Saturday 8-23-2025 Talladega National Forest
Solaros Ride this coming Saturday, Aug 23 - Talladga National Forest - FS Roads 600-2 and 600-1 along the ridge line south of Cheaha Mountain in Eastern Alabama. WE will meet at 9:00 AM Eastern time (8:00 AM Central) at the McDonalds just north of I-20 at the Heflin Alabama exit (Exit 199 - third exit past the GA/AL line).
Departure time from McDonalds is 9:30 AM Eastern/8:30 Central. We will take Hwy 9/78 west to the Skyway Motorway and head south from there. This is a fun ride with only one or two obstacles but lots of nice scenery. Its one of our most popular rides. Bring a picnic lunch as we usually stop at the scenic overlook on 600-1.
