I'm hoping to get out in my Disco II soon. I don't want to do any extended freeway driving until I get the front drive shaft done...I'm ordering one from Great Basin Rovers early next week. Then, I'll probably take the running boards off (can those be sold?) and replace them with sliders.

Once those two things are done, look out Washington!
Thanks, those pics hardly do the day justice...

...I've seen running boards up for sale before, you might have to be patient but I'm sure you'd get some hits.

Thanks Shane. I am on pnwadventures (same "username"), but not very active. My wife and I went on a run out around Ellensburg with that group at the end of March and had a great time. I keep an eye on that site for runs and such, but seems there hasn't been a whole lot happening lately.

Nice. It's a pnwa is a good little site, just not a lot of activity. Good luck with your search for a Disco, I had a DI a while back and now have a DII and they are great rides...a little finicky, nut worth it

It won't get too much worse than your Cherokee, but depending on who you ask, it seems to be all over the map. 10-13mpg's city seems to be pretty common bone stock. But some people have reported up to 20mpg's on the highway.
