I've seen some custom bumpers in the Discovery thread section. Try to search them out.

RoverTym/RTE and SafariGard are some of the most popular/best looking.

If you're building this for a specific person it would probably help to know what they like. RoverTym(RTE) and SafariGard are generally liked by all. I have tube bumpers front and rear and a lot of Rover purists hate them, but I like them, they're light, and tough as ****.
There are even some people out there that like the old Bottorf bumpers!
So if you're searching Google for bumpers pics look for:
RoverTym(RTE)
SafariGard
Terra Firma
HiCountry

Exactly. Brush bars may looks cool but they serve very little purpose on their own. In fact, depending how they're mounted, they can cause more harm than good. Retaining the stock bumper does not provide a winch mount or any front recovery points.

Yes you are 100% right my bad I ment "bull bar" ? I think , this is what my friend wanted on the front and I'm a newbie to the rover world and I'm guessing the term should be bull bar ? I should fix this thread that I seem to confuse everyone with lol . But with this "bull bar" what is everyone's take on it ?

How is this attaching to the truck??
The stock one attached way down low, so if you ever actually bumped anything the top of the bull bar would lever towards the hood and damage the hood and grill.
Seems like you can weld, why not just fab him a simple bumper with an integrated brush guard?
If not, I would attach the bull bar to the top of the stock bumper somehow, maybe weld it on or weld a plate to the bottom of the tubing and bolt it on.
I would recess the bull bar so the bumper is ALWAYS the first thing to make contact.
