Default antenna

I noticed as I got further away from where I got my freelander that my radio reception was getting worse. checked the antenna and the mast/ pole piece wasn't there! Can I replace it with one from a parts store or do I need one from the dealer or a junker? Also do all freelanders have subs? Is there a sub in the back or is that just an amp, anyway to control just the sub without affecting the main speakers?

Did you try changing to a local radio station rather than trying to pick up one from where you got your Freelander as you drove further and further away from that place?

Default RE: antenna

the stations are all in the same market and I should (in my other vehicles prior) get them in my home area.
