M,

I think their list was $83 or 84.. IIRC then my discount.

My UPS gal just wheeled these beauties in the shop for me.

Special thanks to Justin @Lucky8 for the 2" Heavy Duty TerraFirma springs and shocks.

Rockauto...$46.00 plus the ride.
I'll get into it, make sure I need it since it's only a day away. I learned if you order something Fri/Sat or Sunday (NAPA).....their system doesn't process till Monday....thus a Tuesday delivery.

M,

I use RA for some items, their core charges are high, IMO and they don't pay shipping on core returns. Also, seem to get Chinese knock offs instead of OE replacements parts 90% of the time...just my 2¢ worth.

I could have rebuilt mine, but for the price of a piston and a packing/seal kit... Wasn't worth my time and the liquor store is right next door to NAPA...

lol.........Product placement next to liquor store....smart business move!!

Don't use the Rock unless it's a Jeep part typically......I was curious, the core was $45 over there.......I'll be using NAPA with core in hand if needed!! Still best price out there for reliable vendors.

Nice score on the lift, it's odd thinking a mere 2" is much, in other worlds 2" is a budget boost...lol.

That is pretty brilliant, order your parts and drown your sorrows in one trip.

Well I'm sagging on the PS front by an 1-3/8" compared to the DS. So, a 2" HD lift is probably going to yield quite a bit more than 2". I'd say closer to 4" from where the old springs are now.

Only problem is their beer is expensive compared to other stores around and they don't have JWB.. So, it is easy for me not to stop in there.

Well yesterday I went a little further down the rabbit hole. I read where the rear flex coupler doesn't like lifts so I decided to check the condition of it while I was breaking things loose and getting things cleaned up for the lift install.

Flex coupler is in decent shape, But since I have it on the table, might as well replace it. Also there is some slop in the front T/C side u-joint on the front prop shaft.

I like Moog components, anyone have any disdain towards them and the D1? Also, the flex coupler? Go back OE or are aftermarkets just as good?

The wheel wells need some scrubbing and I plan on putting a coat or two of Chassis Saver on them and followed by a 3M undercoat as a final finish.

Thanks,

Jason

My flex coupler has been eliminated, I looked for it chasing a vibration and it didn't exist. (97) Chassis Saver is an excellent product.

Have you put many miles on the truck since purchased?
