Dude. I'm blown away by this. Those cuts are perfect. Like a damn cabinet maker. Is this floor practical? Durable? It sure as hell looks amazing. Probably smells better than the British crayon smell all these trucks have. I'd love to do this to mine except in black to match my doors. I'm no good at handling wood. .........giggity
Haha thanks!!
This has been in the works for a few months now, I had originally cut an entire 1st generation floor out of Pine, but did not like the color, plus the fit wasn't this tight.
The finished version is all cedar, and finished with 3 total coats of marine spar varnish prior to assembly.
My initial goal was to cut down on the heat and noise from the bare metal floors, but I did not want to go with carpet. So it was either this or Rhino Line the interior, and this seemed like the better solution at the time, plus it's different!
In the future I may Rhino Line the floors then reinstall this after a few more coats of varnish

A little recap here, this was the trunk setup when I got the truck... just saying

Stage 2: Rear storage unit

More solid carpentry

Making use of this space

Boom - Compressor is riding between the tank and the glass

Pretty sweet "Anderson Connector" quick disconnect for heavy gauge wire

And finally installed the set of JL speakers I got from the parts truck, they sound 10x better

OK SO, been using the truck like crazy this winter, haven't done much work on her lately besides check fluids and add gas. Just did a Rotella oil change at 193,500 - will update with wheeling pics later!
Daily loadout; recovery gear, parts & fluids, toolbox, and 45QT RTIC

Can anyone tell me what's wrong with this picture?

Turns out the transmission oil temp sensor went bad right after a long trail ride and getting stuck in a mud hole.. I wasn't able to confirm this until the next morning which ruined our wheeling for the day

Found the replacement part for $32 vs $80 from Atlantic British

Pretty easy access with some extensions

Nice & shiny replacement & no more dash light
