Here's the redressed engine, just need to fix up the plug wires

Is that an aluminum tanked radiator? I can see it's cross-flow, would you happen to know the dimensions?

Thanks Tom, I did a cross reference on it and naturally it said it won't fit but we know how to make em fit eh. Actually the vender doesn't have a radiator for the Disco but I can check out Rover rads on fleabay. I'm gonna need one this year I have a feeling.....

...oh and the engine looks better with the aluminum covers, ten times better. The engine bay looks excellent for the year, really great shape for a 67.

Scouts I run the slum with plastic bowels on mine no issues , it was off eBay, the all aluminum d1 they were selling were welded upside down iirc, as in mounts in wrong places



With the new exhaust , new rad., we just regapped plugs, set timing , set idle set dwell, cleaned the old points, she smokes from bad valve seals but runs perfect steady 185* temp

I am running on same points cap and rotor I bought the car with 26 years ago, god knows how old they are

Thanks, I'm kinda wanting to avoid the plastic tanks and wow, how cool it's still the same spark parts! Time capsule of your youth which is way gone now.......

Threw some tires on to mock up the stance, getting there, 215/70/14 fronts, 225/70/14 rear

Need to drop rear down or bigger rear tires, car still has some old school lift shackles on it my dad had lying around, I want to put stock ones back on
