"The steering damper takes some getting used to as it is seriously stronger/tougher than stock and no turning self centreing on the steering"
absolutely correct the first thing my wife said was there is still something wrong with the truck the wheel doesn't return.

"The part that boggles the mind for me is that my old RRC's rode much better that the Disco"
Worlds apart hard to believe they are made by the same company, you would have expected the ride to improve not got worse as the years went on.

Doing my radio this week! What tips could you give me about removing and relocating items????
I'm installing rear camera, steering control, and 2 rear led work lights. Any help with any of those would be huge.

Maybe soon I'm on my way back from a great long weekend at SCARR with the Lucky8 crew.
Great people, great times, and awesome wheeling.
Checkout some of the pics and videos of the fun lucky8llc on facebook.

So been back to working on the Disco a bit. I've been getting a horrible rattle in the rear. Only took a few minutes to locate..
The culprit:
Pulled the cover and found this:
A quick dig in the garage for the component speaker sets I ordered for the Defender. 6.5" Renegade component set. Ran about $35 a set shipped off egay. Perfect fit!
All back together and sounds great. Not bad for a 30 minute job and $35 total cost.
Triar, I should have the dash all back together soon and will take some pics and do a write up on what a pain in the butt doing that was.

Makes you wonder how installing stock RRC springs in the disco would work out.
