Lil Jax Disco II build
Been late coming, but here is the recent build I have been working on. Finishing up the sound system so the daughter has a little bump going on.
Heading to The Shop
New Cannibal v8 Installed
New Center Caps
Intermission. Had a trip out of country that interrupted the process.
Getting ready for lift, ss brake lines, and wheels/tires
DynaMat entire roof
Reconditioned head liner
trying to seal the typical Disco Leak. Sealed the CRAP out of it
Getting new to me Style 2s ready for BFG KO2s
Blacked out Hood. Actual Paint Job
Almost Complete

hahahaha, that's the long story! SafeLite replaced it back in '07. It leaked after they replaced it, had it replaced again, leaked again. They finally blamed it on the Sun roofs.
fast forward to this recent rebuild, we found they damaged the seams on the top corners where we found some hardened epoxy. Called them for the lifetime warranty. They told me to pound sand.
Put a nice post on their facebook page. Got a PM from their executive customer service department within 8 hours. They fixed the seams, replaced the windshields, repaired the headliner, replaced the overhead dvd player, replaced the cowling that was damaged during the install and the A pillar trims. Unfortunately, they replaced the windshield 4 times before they agreed the seams needed repairing, but that was their problem. Caused me a lot of delays.
I like to judge a company on how they react when everything goes bad, and I have to say, in the end SafeLite really stepped up.
