Pimpin' my ride
#24
I apologize Tweakrover but I couldn't resist.I was googling and that picture come up so I was hoping to share the laugh.Life is serious enough .As for your question I will make a sketch and show what I plan.Basically windshield stay, front doors stay,B pillar stay, everything behind B pillar will go including back doors and rear door.Instead I will build cargo box something like Defender.Front obviously doesn't work with these tires so instead of cutting it I will replace it.You know how Light Weight Land Rover front end look like , this is my plan. And yes everything is going to be street legal including these tires. They are highway and street legal in US an Canada .Stay tuned.

Here is my up to date.I removed rear doors and outside panels and made small run in my backyard , well , it is drivable.
I found more rust , so scraping the body is actually good thing.
I have seen somewhere in this forum tread post your ride or something like that.Does this qualifies?
During the demolition I tested my new inner fender. As you can see there is going to be a lot of room around the wheel. And I found more rust , no surprise.
This is how truck looks right now.Rear end is gone.
